| Pupukea Beach Park Signage Along The North Shore of Hawaii |
Then again, we shouldn't have to wait until Valentine's Day to do something special for our better half.
Today, I witnessed lots of humpback whales "dancing" in the Pacific Ocean. Too bad I didn't have my DSLR camera with me!!!
Right before my very eyes, I saw whales breaching, blowing, flapping their huge tails, as if they were doing it to celebrate their love on Valentine's Day! I particularly remember seeing two of them shoot straight up into the air in unison, like soulmates! What a beautiful sight that was!
My children and I weren't even planning on seeing the whales today. As we were driving along the North Shore, we suddenly saw some whales splashing and blowing in the middle of the ocean! We stopped at the corner of Puamalu and Kamehameha Highway to get a better look but then it seemed as if they had decided to migrate somewhere else. So, we decided to head over to Waimea Bay to go for a dip, instead. Just then, we saw even more whales as we were driving towards that direction! We pulled over and parked right in front of the signage (as shown in the photo below).
